Clubs and Societies Everton garden Holders Association Nottinghamshire Walking Groups Everton Bowling Club Everton Bowling Club is a flat green club situated on the Metcalfe Recreation Ground in the village, with a membership of about 30 members. The 2001 season should start in April, weather permitting, with the AGM being held in the tearooms, in March, date to be confirmed. Members compete in the Isle of Axeholme league, which is run with 27 teams split into three divisions. They also compete in friendly competitions with other clubs, one of which has been ongoing for over 40 years. Inter-club competitions are held throughout the season, ending with a presentation dinner. Local member’s fees
are £10 per person per year. Advice
